Experience Thrills and Spills: iFly Singapore @ Sentosa

Have you ever feel the adrenaline rush to try skydiving or bungee jumping but yet fearful to attempt it? There’s is an alternative to experience ‘flying’ in a fun and safe way at iFly Singapore in Sentosa. Best part of all, it’s suitable for everyone starting from age of 7.

 iFly Singapore

Located right next to Sentosa’s beach station, iFly Singapore is Southeast Asia’s largest themed wind tunnel for indoor skydiving.

Besides attracting travellers, it sure draws locals as well. All thanks to technologies, iFly Singapore provides the safest and most accurate freefall stimulation possible, making body-flying safe and accessible to the general public.

It’s an assurance to know iFly Singapore has proven track record for safety. We know how important safety is to everyone. So I can now know it’s certainly safe for Big M to experience indoor skydiving.

As this is an indoor activity, rain or shine it is not going to disrupt your itinerary. We have our handsome instructor sharing with us on iFly Singapore and giving a safety briefing.

 Tips Before Flying

Some of the criterias include:

  • Weigh less than 120kg (if shorter than 180cm) or 140kg (if taller than 180cm).
  • Do call iFly if you exceed the limits.
  • You must be able to comfortably wear one of our helmets.
  • You are not pregnant.
  • You have not previously dislocated your shoulder, have no history of back/neck injury or heart problems.
  • You are not under the influence of alcohol or non-prescriptive drugs.
  • You are not wearing a plaster cast.

We are all ready to go!

Each flyer will enjoy two skydives in the wind tunnel. The time it takes for each skydive is like falling through the air from 12,000 to 3,000 feet! And at one-fifth the cost of a tandem jump, iFly Singapore is unbeatable value.

The feeling inside the wind tunnel is cold. Imagine strong blast of winds blowing onto you and keeping you afloat in the air. If you have a fear of heights, we think coming to iFly Singapore would be a good method to overcome it. It’s not as scary as it seems 🙂

Yes, Big M has fun and thoroughly enjoyed very moment in iFly Singapore. Passed she did. And here she is receiving her flying certificate from the instructor.

iFly Singapore is more than just a flying experience. It also caters for a variety of corporate events which they can customize to suit your needs to leave an everlasting impression on your guests. This is a shoutout to iFly Singapore when you are planning celebrations or corporate events.

The air-conditioned ambience is a welcoming experience.

  1. I think this would be so great for kids since it’s less risky than the real thing! My nephew who is slightly special needs also went on a special field trip here which focussed on the physics aspects of the iFly machine.

  2. I thought I read this post of yours before! Not sure why I didn’t leave a comment back then. This looks SOOOO FUN! Can’t wait for my kiddo to be old enough to bring him to try.
