Tea Ideas: The Original Tea Wand Company (5 Mixed Wands Packs to Giveaways!)

Barely a year since we started blogging, we are happy that our blog has gained some traction. There are readers who wrote to us to express their appreciation and stamp of approval on sharing local start-ups and creating a space in the social media for them to be known. This is what Katong Kids Inc is all about. We are happy to collaborate with home-grown firms and share about their products to the public.

One of my resolutions for 2016 is to eat healthily and live healthily. It has to be pure coincidence. I was actually invited by this home-grown firm called Tea Ideas to attend their roadshow at Bugis Junction and get to know more about their tea products. Coming with not much expectation, little did I know I was in for an amazing discovery.

It was all started by this couple with one common interest. You would have guessed it correctly. Yes, they love tea. Very much! They have this idea that a small cup of tea and make a big difference. That’s how the name Tea Ideas come about. It takes dedication and determination to produce high quality tea, come up with innovative ways to package them and finally sell it to the consumers. Let’s meet the founders:

Tea Ideas work directly with the growers that share their passion to produce high quality teas that yield diverse, subtle flavors that cannot be found in other tea offerings. It’s definitely a plus to know there are no compromises. Tea Ideas caught the attention of the media and was being featured in The Straits Times on 12 December 2014.

I am very motivated to share my experiences. There are 8 reasons why I am so impressed with Tea Ideas that you must know this company and you try out their products as well:

You’re right, all you need to do is to dip, stir and viola, enjoy! Tea Ideas‘ produces the tea wands which are infusers, designed to brew tea leaves directly in a cup without the need for teapots, strainers or stirrers. These wands are made with FDA-approved aluminium foil which can withstands temperatures up to 120 degree celsius, and allows for proper expansion of whole tea leaves to deliver the optimum brew every tea-lover is looking for. Hey, Tea Ideas‘ wands also come with a drip-free technology that doesn’t drip when held horizontally.

Take a look at the quality and quantity of loose tea leaves packs in each tea wand. It was a pleasant discovery to know that each tea wand can make 3 cups of tea.

This is what sets Tea Ideas apart from other tea brands in the market. Tea Ideas is happy only when the best quality tea is delivered to you. Their value-added gourmet tea goes through a stringent cleaning process to remove the impurities.

• ISO 22000:2005 Certification Standard to our brand.
• We are also HACCP & IFS Certified Tea Plant
• Organically grown teas complying with India Organic, JAS (Japan Agricultural Standards), EU & USDA Certified standards.

Health is wealth. It is meaningless to drink tea of poor quality that doesn’t do much to improve your health. Tea Ideas recognized the importance of drinking healthily, living healthily. The host of benefits it brags will certainly strike a chord with those who are health-conscious and wants to improve their health conditions.

With so many flavors of tea to choose from, you are spoiled for choices! Unlike conventional tea package we find in supermarkets in which each box contains only one flavor, Tea Ideas allows its customers to mix and match the flavors of tea they want.

I mean it when I say this. Very often, I would observe what kind of workers a company hire. Tea Ideas comes across to me as a caring employer which partners with the People’s Association (PA) and provide job opportunities to the seniors.

One of the example is Madam P. Indira Thevy, 63, who joined a tea appreciation course and scored a part-time job with Tea Ideas, where she packs tea and recommends brews to customers at roadshows. This was mentioned in an article in The Straits Times. What a smile Tea Ideas brings to the seniors 🙂

Tea Ideas also partners with People’s Association (PA) to conduct  tea appreciation courses across the Community Clubs (CCs) in Singapore. This is a part of the PA’s SkillsFuture@PA initiative to meet lifelong learning needs and aspiration of residents.
