We were impressed on our first day in Harbin 哈尔滨 and felt that it is one of the ideal travel destinations for famililes with kids without taking long flights.  Come Day 2, we had the whole day to explore Harbin and we booked a personal driver from the hotel. It cost us CNY400 for the whole day transport which was considered reasonable.
