KSL City: D’Shanghai Dim Sum Restaurant (大上海点心)

It is not often that we get the chance to hop across the causeway and if we do, food discovery is very much a part of our itinerary. We were at KSL City and stopped by to satisfy our hunger pangs. We thought this dim sum specialty restaurant by name of D’Shanghai would be interesting to check out.

As D’ Shanghai is located inside KSL Mall, it is fully air-conditioned and you can dine at your comfort. We heard they also have branches in Permas and Sutera Mall.

What We Ordered

We like the food selection over at D’ Shanghai. Prices wise, we have no qualms as you know it’s not cheap but yet decent in Johor.  These were what we ordered.

Fried Fen Pi – RM $11.90

Fried Avocador Rolls – RM $8.80

Spring Rolls – RM $4.80

Prawn Rice Rolls – RM $7.20

Signature Xiao Long Bao – RM $5.20

Scallop Xiao Long Bao – RM $7.20

Siew Mai – RM $5.20

Har Gao – RM $5.80

Prawn Dumpling – RM $5.80

Spare Ribs – RM $5.80

Fried Chicken Wings – RM $10.80

There’s nothing to shout about on D’ Shanghai’s ambience and service. We were here to dine and the taste and prices were what we were looking for. Overall, it offers a good selection of dim sum for diners to choose from and we satisfied. Will we return again? Why not.
