We discovered an interesting cafe today nearby Clark Quay. Located at 17 Hong Kong Street, you could easily miss this cafe by name of “Ronin” as it has no signboard. It is literally hidden at a corner of this quiet street.
Ronin cafe has actually been around for more than 2 years. Little did I know about its existence in this part of the city. I believe many cafe hoppers out there have yet to come here as well. Perhaps the lack of signboard at the entrance did Ronin cafe a favour. I was drawn by the dark and cosy ambience that I decided to step in to take a look.
This cafe seems to target the working group as it opens till 6pm during the weekdays and 7.30pm during the weekends.
It is good to know that if you come in a small groups, there are two big tables that can accommodate your group size (provided there are seats available, of cos). I heard it is usually packed during the weekdays. So all in all, I would think it’s a nice place to chill out with friends during the weekends.
I ordered The Wicked which cost $5.50. It is mocha that is infused with a piece of mint leave which injected the drink with minty flavor. Not forgetting, it comes with a chocolaty taste. I was kinda surprised the quantity only filled up to 3/4 though.
They served nice breakfast as well.
