We have been staying in Katong for quite a while but never have the chance to step into Peranakan Inn and Lounge to try its dishes. We finally made the trip today.
This is how the shophouse looks like at the front.
The place was air-conditioned. It was a great relief as the weather was very hot! As you can see, the interior was dated but we actually liked it very much.
Traditional tables and chairs were used.
Even our former Presidents S. R. Nathan and Wee Kim Wee patronised this restaurant.
Simple spread of Nonya food.
This simple meal cost $39. That works out about $10 per pax for the four of us.
